Quien es Andrea

Andrea ha trabajado en el Sistema Nacional de Salud (NHS) desde 2004, formándose en hospitales de renombre como King's College Hospital y Guy's and St. Thomas', especializándose en Ginecología y Obstetricia y actualmente trabajando en Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust en la sede de West Middlesex.

 

Además de una carrera a tiempo completo, participa activamente en investigación, colabora en estudios multicéntricos y ha publicado en revistas científicas. También se ha presentado en congresos nacionales e internacionales y ha escrito capítulos con expertos sobre embarazo después de tecnología de reproducción asistida y embarazo ectópico. También participa activamente en la educación médica en Imperial College London y es profesora de simulación de laparoscopia y ecografía pélvica.

 

Su pasión es mejorar la calidad del la atención al paciente y recientemente fue nombrada líder de riesgo ginecológico en el hospital donde trabaja. Participó en múltiples proyectos de innovación, incluido el desarrollo de una aplicación para ayudar a las mujeres que sufren de náuseas y vómitos en el  embarazo, la creación de vías de atención de emergencia el mismo día (SDEC) en ginecología y la dirección de los exitosos proyectos de Tree-mend-ous .
