Ms Andrea Day is a leading consultant Gynaecologist and Obstetrician specialised in a wide range of women’s health issues such as heavy periods, pelvic pain, fibroids, polyps and ovarian cysts. She is renowned for her expertise in pelvic scanning, with a special interest in treating acute gynaecological conditions and Early Pregnancy complications as well as performing minor gynaecological procedures under local anaesthesia. 

In addition to a full-time career, she actively participates in teaching, research and has published in peer-reviewed scientific journals, presented in national and international conferences and is the co-author of numerous chapters in books written by experts in the field. written chapters with experts on the field. She is also actively involved in medical education with Imperial College London and is faculty for simulation training in laparoscopy and pelvic ultrasound. 
 

Ms Day trained in renowned hospitals such as King’s College Hospital and Guy's and St. Thomas’ and works both NHS and privately at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust at the West Middlesex Hospital site.  She does consultations both in English and in Spanish

Driven by her passion for patient safety and quality improvement, she was appointed to the lead role for gynaecology risk within clinical governance. She is actively involved in enhancing patient care and experience and participates in numerous innovation projects including the development of an app aimed to support women experiencing Nausea and Vomiting in Early Pregnancy and pioneering rapid pregnancy hormone blood results to facilitate informed decision-making and management.
